This is brilliant! I almost said you needed some panelling on the outside; it looks looks really impressive now, I like the uneven and worn look of the floor boards too.

Someone did up some propaganda posters and put them on the forums (sorry can't remember who but will go looking). They would look great shrunk down and put up on the outside of the church & bunkers.

They were done by Steam Crow, and I will be using them when I finish up my rivet Houses idea. However, those would look good on churches and other buildings.

All this building activity I will have to release my idea soon before it is old news.

Steam Crow is going to start selling a sticker sheet for the Propaganda posters. He's working hard on making a great deal of RW related things so I suggest supporting him. He isn't overcharging anything so they shouldn't be too expensive.

PS: The fronts are mirrored, however the Russian style windmills look awesome.

lol, you'' need to start labelling your pictures with "Work in Progress" like Ted does

The windmill is totally brilliant and will look the part once the wooden frame is completed on the outside.

I'm not entirely sure what type of wood you're using is it balsa or lollystick or somewhere inbetween?

    Thanks a lot!

I've found some Basswood at a local hobby store, I'll check it out this weekend. It looks like lollysticks are cheaper.

I've not done lollystick craft in years - you've reignited my desire to build scenery!

Really think this is great, the roof structure looks solid and the arches are a nice touch!

I know what you mean, I really like the aged/rustic look of the wood. Perhaps a very weak white wash would be ok; I can see a thick covering being too glossy, but thatll look more like an amish windmill. It's a tough call!

Possibly a bit late for this comment, but hey. Love the church, you mention a double size factory, how about a realistically proportioned church/cathedral, covering three squares crossing four? You could still make it in grid sized chunks for individual use, just have only two walls or three for the points of the cross. This could make for cool hallway style engagements down the stem. Maybe have slightly raised floor on the'top' grid of the cross for the actual objective scoring area, to find the relic/clue/tomb ala Indiana Jones/treasure hunter. Hey there's a scenario, get him there alive on the attacking force to unlock the prophecy for the holy doomsday weapon? This would also work to fill a lot of no mans land for semetrical battlefields. What do people think?

This stone work is amazing! It must have taken hours to sand down the edges!

I can't quite see, does the book have pages too?

What I really love about these (besides the craftsmanship), is that it makes it so obvious why infantry must take the strategic objective.

    Well done.

    Oh, and, wow!

I have been hard at work on these Strategic Objectives lately.

I went out and bought an airbrush to really do this stuff up right for the painting. I have painted the Library and the Church and they look awesome!

I just ordered a "Foldio" portable camera studio in a box (dual LED version) to take proper photos of the terrain and the minis I have painted so far. I won't post photos until that comes in (hopefully in a week or so). Can't wait to get some pics of them up, I am really happy with how they turned out! By the time my Foldio comes in, I should also have 6 Bunkers and an Armory building done.
