It will work out, trust in the brush. At that scale, so long as it's still a recognizable shape the eye will fill in the picture. Just needs to be a suggestion. Don't give into frustration

Not frustrated, just out of juice, this project took a lot of mental and physical strength. I am just a big baby sometimes and need to cry

That's it guys I said it's enough, like Zab said the job is done here.

The book is done, let's move on.

I present you the book of dragon:

*round of applause* The dragon may not match your original source picture exactly, but he's definitely a dragon and I think it looks great Teronus.

*hugs* You're allowed to be a big baby sometimes (we all have our moments). As long as I don't have to change any nappies we'll be fine.

Even though this was exhausting work I hope you're happy and, most importantly, still having fun painting.

Ridiculously good Tero!! You can perfectly see a dragon so there's no point in getting upset.
It is so tiny, that I would probably run into despair and painted it with a size 5 brush just after a minute of trying my best in that minuscule page. xD xD

    Thanks all very much!

Flu, everybody needs stepping up their game when going to a competition like that, I go there to win and I know I got to do crazy things if I even want to dream about winning. It's been 16 years since I went to GD UK, I am starving man LOL I am giving all I've got dude.

Maenas, after a good damage control I nailed it but what I had before was off.

    Zab, thanks dude

    Trystan, thanks man

BAM, you posted while I was editing this post, thanks bro!

OK before turning the page I want to give you the exact dimension of the whole book so you can cut a little paper and see for yourself.

Almost ready to start the Sorceress, just need to do a small conversion for the arm that normally hold a whip or a dagger, I am going to do a nice slim shield instead.
Why a sheild? So I can have a spot on that mini where I can exercise my TMM like I want, on her body the metal is more like lingerie then armor. Probably free hand tattoo on the skin and crazy eyes are to be expected plus my TMM of course, banner will be even more crazy then the book.
