    Thanks for the suggestions, Maxxxx.

The guy with the orange sleeves got kicked to the side a while ago because I couldn't figure out what to do with the sleeves. I was thinking of using green stuff to add a little more detail to the sleeves.

The bust of Marilyn Monroe and the Gangster figure are just base coated so far, so they will definitely get a lot more work.

As for the two SD Kitty, one arrived damaged and was replaced so rather than throw it away I am using it to practice on as I paint the other. (test on the broken one, then do it for real on the good one)

Day off yesterday. Did some work on Ramses. Still need a little more work on the flesh, then highlighting the gold.

I think I am almost done with Ramses. Need to figure out what to do for a base now.

Colours look nice, but maybe you could add a bit more interest shadowing that blue skirt (and helmet) a bit more??

For the base... what about a sandstone square block behind and a sandy base? or a couple of papyrus? mmmm maybe also you could add a wall behind with some inscriptions.... or if you want to keep it simple decorate the plith with them instead of building a wall...

Thanks for the feedback. Having a tough time with the skirt. The folds are backwards (upside down) from what I am used to so I am not sure where to put the shading without messing it up. Might have to try holding him upside down.

Might have to pull out the putty and try the wall. Time for some Google image searches.

Stumbled across this mini bust by Nocturna this afternoon and decided to spray it with primer and see how fast I could knock it out. Here we are 2 hours in. Still have a long way to go, but got quite a good start.

Thanks for the link. I had seen the page on shading, but not the whole book.

You have been finishing some interesting minis. Cool.

Not sure how I ended up with this mini from Taban. Not really my cup of tea. Got it primed with the Dwarf and just finished the base coats so you can see the color scheme. It actually has some decent detailing, so it might be fun.

You are busy! I like the range of different styles and subjects. Should keep things interesting as you work on them.

I never know until I sit down and pick up a brush, whether it is a good day to paint or a bad one. Some days I am in the zone, other days I need to stick to landscape and base coating. This is why I keep so many minis working at various stages. I have tried in the past to force myself to take my time and do a good job when I am not at 100% and the outcome was not very good. I have found that there are only certain days that are good for painting eyes, so I wait until that day arrives and paint a bunch.

Very nice work. A few glazes on the skin would help the contrast and depth. Eg blues around the eyes, reds nose / cheeks , even greens in places.

Thank you for asking but I don't do commissions.

Added some color around and in the eyes and on the cheeks and bottom of nose. Looks like the glue clouded up the finish on my stand, so I guess I will paint the top black to cover it up.

The sculpts on this last two busts are not the best imo. But you are defending them quite properly. I think that the colours around the eyes of the dwarf are a good addition, rose chicks on the dwarf maybe went a bit too heavy, but that is maybe a personal choice or a lighting issue...
On the taban mini, I think it was a good idea shifting from green to human skin. Before it seemed a mix in between Shreck, an orc and a gamma rays muttated human. ^^
I do not know if you will understand what I will try to explain now, but anyway... I think you should try to correct the outer corners of the eyes, shift them from pointing somewhat down to pointing up a little, for now they look a bit strange (I am almost sure it is a sculpt issue), though I like what you did with the irises
