Sorry, folks, I've lost track of this. What's the next challenge? Something anime-ish?

Its okay, next one will be Anime-ish and it will be in October. Plenty of time for you to get something for it

Glad to see mar pulling ahead

I have plenty of Soda Pop minis, so I should be set on this one too.

Can it be California pizza kitchen (frozen) and butterbeer?
If you can name your paint colors blindfolded....you might be a brushlicker

I'm also taking ideas for the next February contest. I have a few ideas rattling around in my head, but was curious if there was anything you guys particularly wanted to do or see happen?

How about a mount and rider contest.

Opens up to all kind of things.

    Playing off the hallmark holiday....
    How about 'rare beauties'?

Anything limited edition, retired, or hard to find.

@Zab...considering it would be the 'love' holiday...it would still work...

Anime-ish ..... I'm at a loss, really. I literally cannot see Infinity and Malifaux models, and I've just started my first 90mm bust, and I'm having serious problems blending. I think anything from E2046 is likely to cause even more issues. I might give it a miss.

But next Feb ..... we'll see. I'd like to do a It Came From Your Worst Nightmare theme. But Rare Beauties is good, too - I have a limited edition Ilyad Desdemone which would fit the bill perfectly.

    Oh really?

+1 for the rare beauties as well. Sounds like its one to get people digging into their mini mountains for the 'precious'

sigh, yesterday received the last 4 KD minis aaand there is no place for them in the box dedicated to KD minis, that's 32l large. So yes, as of yesterday I have more than 32l of KD minis...

For Feb it would be great to paint the HUSH!, but... I still feel I'm not at the level to do it justice.
    Forgot, that it works again.

Not a fan of the "rare" idea.

Feels like a contest for a closed and elite group of collectors.

Surely you've got a mini that has gone out of production?

*shocked* I thought every mini painter had some models they kept just because they couldn't do it justice at the time of purchase

The mini I'm thinking of actually falls into both "rare" and "mounted" categories, turns out--

But I'd prefer a mounted category, I think, to avoid folks feeling like they can't participate if they don't have any limited edition figures.
