Thanks so much guys. I really appreciate the support. I’ve finished Maulg up, got him settled on his dreary little base. I’m super happy with what I pulled off here, definitely feel like he’s a step forward on my painting journey. If you’d like to see some other shots of Maulg, I put him up over on P&P. Here’s the link.

I would love a step by step on the base. I especially like the grass all different heights and bent over like that. Looks great.

Maulg looks great SaintToad, like I mentioned that stippled skin texture is amazing. I'm going to read those new tutorials on your site now, always a treat!

Hopefully you can see where I’m headed with this fellow. An older bust, but a real fun sculpt to paint, helping me move right along.
    Lemme know what you think.

I'm a sucker for old horror and monster movies, and this guy definitely captures that vibe. You're off to a great start.

Thanks a bundle, friends. It’s been fun jumping into a project I had been dreaming about for a long time.
I’m in the home stretch now. Just have to do the flame side of the coal, the water skin on his back, and a few little bobs around the model.
