I really envy your basework. I know it must take a lot of time to work on them but when you see pictures like this, it makes your bases look effortless! It is great to have you back on the site and producing amazing work like this. I can't speak for others but it certainly inspires me!
That’s some very impressive base work there!

Very nice. Your fungus is very realistic and I like the orange plants. Very cool
Thanks, guys. I appreciate the kind words!
I've been working on another little scene. This one's for my mother. I'll be adding some little animals & stuff.

Thanks so much, guys. I really appreciate it.
I'm waiting on a few supplies from Hasslefree in England, so I have to be patient. I'm planning some more vegetation etc. on the second vignette.
I also intend to post to my website some tutorials on creating these little scenes/bases, as well as some tutorials focused on particular stuff like flowers & mushrooms. It's not brain surgery, but I might have a few tips you can use.

I'd love to see your thoughts on creating bases such as these. Any tricks I can learn to improve my basing skills would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress on the latest base once you get your supplies as well!
Awesome work Toad, keep us posted on those tutorials...should make for interesting reading.

Thanks for the nice words, everyone! I'm glad you enjoy what I've been doing.
As I mentioned above, here is the first of what might be a few tutorials. I'd appreciate any feedback you have, too.
