    Just took a quick tour through your gallery. I particularly like that stone golem of yours. Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

    @YetiSA - Thanks! Alas, it appears that my painting skills are decreasing over time, based on the scores, since the golem was painted many years ago.

    @Digganob - Since painting two simultaneous minis worked out pretty well, I decided to try ... drumroll, please ... FOUR simultaneous minis!

    The kroot are just about ready to paint ...

    Slowcoaches.

    looking forward to these. Based on your flesh faire entry and stone golem I think the brush skills are there: maybe with these just take some time to add more colour variation and contrast. Check the colour wheel for good colour partners (blue and orange, red and green etc) and add more variety. It should be a really easy way to level up.

    @Zab - I will. And I will.

    @bcgd - Thanks for the advice. I will try it out, though it is really hard to wrap my head around the idea of using red to shade green, etc.

    Don't get your expectations up too high.

    Trying to decide between painting her up as Batgirl or Wonder Woman ...

    Well, I'm apparently one of those unreliable hobbyists who pop up then disappear unpredictably!

    I recently worked on some Warhammer 40K minis after Kill Team came out. Here are some space marines I painted up recently (votable in my sig)!Name: 4C096062-A4A7-4CB0-A282-4DFAE7CF8BA8.jpeg

    Nice work on the space marines. I like the texture you have there. How did you get that?
    Oh and the genestealer holding the termy helmet is an awesome sculpt, I'd like to see that painted up!

    Thanks! The texture happened by accident honestly. The primer was grainy, so I think the dry brushing picked up the texture. (I used a blue glaze to offset the chalkiness.)

    Hope to be a little better with updates on the genestealers!
