    Quan - Transcendence - "During his activation, he may place a Guild token on his current Space. (Limit 1 token.) May exhaust his Hero card to return to that Space. (Drops any quest tokens.)" 3-3HP

    i think this would work better if it used his movement for his current turn, and exhausted any movement points used to boost his defence.....otherwise, he would be impossible to move once he got to where he wanted to be and remained stationary.

    Hey Wycroe, thanks for the thoughts! When writing this ability I was thinking more so of the ability taking effect on other players' turns. If it said his movement for his current turn then it would not go into effect on other players' turns. I do think though that based on how the ability is written that if you activate him and only use one movement point before attacking then the guards payback reaction would allow Azure to roll 2 additional defense dice because his last activation by default is his current activation.

    If this ability doesn't seem fitting for a covert hero, I could also see it being for Toghor or Tosh as "Fortify", which thematically would be digging in to defend against assault.

    Yeah, for sure...maybe a rewrite to say the bonus lasts until his guild's next activation...I never thought about how it would impact him after his turn was over, just while he was active
