Wow... just wanted to mention, that I've left a couple of 10s over here!
You've updated your gallery with a list of brilliant pieces.

Thanks for the votes on my gallery everyone, very much appreciated!

My Noise marine was briefly hanging in there at no 10 in the top 10 of 2019 which is pretty nuts!

anyway I’m pleased to say I have also finished my Lucas Pina bust. What a model to work many textures, materials and finishes to consider. Definitely feel it has really pushed my ability and made me think long and hard about how I tackle models.

Need to order a plinth for it but it is otherwise complete.

unbelivable dude... you're a magician. absolutley stunning, and incredible work on the textures and metallics!

Also, the noise marine hanging in the top 10 of 2019 doesn't surprise me, I mean when I say it's by far the coolest funko pop redo I've ever seen!

Thanks everyone, really appreciate the comments as always!

Moving back down in scale now I’ve started working on a 40k Ogryn as part of a potential new diorama piece that will feature multiple figures.

Wow man, I love the subtle NMM you've got on the gun. It is not flashy and bright, which made me miss it at first, and it looks just so natural, with the dark horizon line on the shells in the magazine...
I really think that your NMM is some of the best out there.

    Hi Hairster
Yes, I was following this at the age of 9, and now at the age of 9, a lot has changed
    Big changes have taken place

  17. #1777

very nice. the ogryns are sooo cool models

  18. #1778

Thanks! The Ogryns are indeed lovely models to paint, just enough space to be able to work freely and plenty of shape to work with.

In between working on these and other IG minis, I’ve started a larger scenic base that will eventually be their home. As usual grand visual ambitions in my head that I’m trying to make reality...

Imagine a dense jungle Bayou with a squad of Imperial Guard trudging through the knee deep water...well that’s what I saw in my head...

well that’s the state of play so far, lots more minis to paint, foliage, water and a painted back board to add....

  19. #1779

That base for the diorama looks amazing already Hairster! I honestly don't think you even need a scenic backdrop for it since you have some height in terrain going on to begin with, but am looking forward to what you paint up as the backdrop and this whole thing completed!

    excellent work on the base
