As always, I follow your work closely on Instagram and always struggle with much to say other than sensational, fantastic, one of the best painters around! You know, that sort of thing This Tyranid, much like the Necron before it, makes you reconsider how good a particular mini or army can or even should look. One thing that is inspirational about your work is how you find new colors and techniques that nobody or almost nobody is using. It makes everything you do stand out and I will certainly be trying to do the same thing in my future projects. Thanks for sharing your work with us, mate!

Some great work matey, especially impressed with the colours and textures on the genestealer.
The plinth/base is working well with a good balance and symmetry with the only exception is the one piece of slate sticking a out a little to far imo.

Thank you for asking but I don't do commissions.

Thanks Dex, gorb and Eki!....if im out for walks with the family i spend most of my time with my eyes to the ground looking for interesting stuff to hoard!

@Kuribo - thanks for the kind words mate, and thanks for letting me bore you all with my endless updates! I think the fact that I had 20yrs out of the hobby means I have no preconceptions about how things 'should' look. I also have a bit of a thing about deliberately not doing stuff the right way, which bites me on the arse at competitions like GD....however I want to paint things for me...not someone else...if they like it, great...if not, I can live with that.

@Ten - thanks! Think i'll have to use the no symmetry in nature card on that one (although clearly not entirely true)...suspect once the big guy is on there it will look a little different anyway but will definitely bear it in mind once everything is together.

I don't know about anybody else here but this thing looks exactly like a purple monster should look like to me
Can't wait to see the whole thing come together with that superb base.
