    Thanks Fox and LL!

@Lone Lemming - Some of it is intuitive but I also use one of the angle poise lamps from my lighting set up to hit the mini with a blast of light as I paint it, theres usually enough light there to give a pretty solid indication of reflection - I then take a little artistic license to give it a bit more impact.

I'm really digging that dark blue. They're unstoppable super soldiers, not high school cheerleaders!

Thanks Toad, and BAM I would never go that far! Just doing my thing, experimenting and pushing myself on new things whenever I can. The sentiment is much appreciated though from you.

...with that in mind...my next challenge is Marble... this is one of the 120mm ish high statues from the GW Basilicanum set that I will be using as the centre piece for the dual i’m working on.

I’ve only made a start and I’m still working out the colouration. This is coat one and I will probably try to add depth by layering glazes varnishes and overpainting. Will be a bit of trial and error is suspect.

That is nice subtle marble. Every time I try this I end up making the lines too wide.

Brilliant work on the genestealer hairster, he looks awesome, I really like the orange, very bright and makes the whole thing stand out. A really cool paint job. And the primaris is just amazing.

That statue is going to look amazing when it is done! It stopped me in my tracks when I saw it on Instagram the other day. I can't wait to see the finished product and to see who the participants are in the duel. Knowing you, it is going to be an amazing project!
