Brilliant as usual! I really like the old school sci-fi / rogue trader flavor of the cyber-brute. Sorry to see your mishap with the tile molds, but I suppose we learn by trail and error.

Thank you Graishak! I appreciate every vote, so far the most votes any of my models have gotten is a paltry 42
Thanks khavor, I appreciate your comments! Yeah I was a bit bummed by the tile mishap, but then again it is a chance to go back and fix the mistakes in the tiles properly, so not tooooo bad.
Cheers maxwin, much appreciated!
I started slapping some paint onto the Brute, starting with his rusty meathooks, implants and boots (he looks very European in his rusty sandals lol)
And I also started (re)weathering the Land Raider, finally having added all the bits of replacement and extra detail that I wanted.
Plus I managed to rebuild my tile set. Thumbs pressed that I manage to not eff it up this time
Thanks for stopping by, and stay safe!
Had a crack at fleshing out Mr. Meathooks. This is definitely the grimmest of grim that I'm going for here.

"Nice", remind me of Residen Evil.
Rhino is looking sweet! Hope the new tiles turn out since they are looking really nice for basing/gaming. Nemesis guy is awesome!
The rusty hooks of Nemesis are looking great!
Its great to see some paint on that guy after seeing the early sculpts on Instagram. He looks very scary and grimy which is practically the CMON WIP "house style" I'd sayI look forward to seeing him when his base is done as I bet he'll look pretty awesome!
Thanks Dexter, maxwin! Yeah I think so too!
Thanks ekipage, hopefully I won't muck it up this time. Let me put it this way, I won't just slop a whole handful of wet silicon caulk on the tiles this time. Lessons learned
Cheers Graishak! Glad you like them!
Thanks Kuribo, I appreciate the kind words!
Here are two more pics of him. I've tried to tighten up some of the contrast and flesh tones, as well as add some reflections to the blood vails on his back.
Still more touch ups to do, and finish off the base with some washes and powders, then I think he's good to go.
Also started making some more greebly bits, in the same push mold style as the floor tiles.
This time it is control consoles, so lots of buttons, screens and dials.

Your an absolute talent!!! The size of the model is much smaller than thought which is even more inspiring that your painting has done an incredible job making it appear larger!!! Awesome sauce
Here’s hoping you get those molds, uh, molded. Really going to be a lot of fun once you have the process down.
Thank you my friend, such encouraging words!
Cheers SaintToad! Yeah the molding/casting vocabulary is sometimes hard to work with. You mold a mold, you cast a cast. Yet you cast silicon and resin, even when making a mold. The master is sometimes called the mold. Except when it is the mother mold, then it is not the mold at all ?!?!?
I've finished up the cyber brute, he is served up on a platter ready for your vote & comments here:

Voted and commented! I'm very curious to see where your forays in scenery molding is going. I have a feeling you're up to something very interesting![]()
Thanks Kuribo, to you and everyone else that commented and voted, it is much appreciated!
As usual I have too many ideas in my head (not saying that they are good ideas, just ideas), and not enough time to do a quarter of them...
Cyber Brute is up at putty and paint too, I'd appreciate a vote / comment there too

I've been sculpting something else over the last week or so: it will be an Aliens-based diorama, here are some wip shots:
I guess I love the idea of space marines v aliens, this is becoming a theme
Enjoy, and please stay safe!
diorama coming along nicely, but have to ask: why sculpt from 0, wasn't a conversion from Prodos figures an valid option? Or are those figures unusable for the scene?
Forgot, that it works again.
This new dio looks really promising. You have my attention.
Thank you Max!
Almost all of the work I do is done on models that I either scratchbuild, sculpt, or both.
This gives me freedom to do whatever I want, but I also get a kick out of it when I'm done.
Sure, it isn't everyone's cup of tea, and not many people outside of the WIP forum here follow what I do. I get it too - no matter how much paper I glue onto my Fire Raptor, it is still a paper model, not an official one,
so people just go "meh it looks fake" and they swipe over to the next post. But it is good enough for me.
I own only a couple of "real" kit which I bought when I was younger, with more disposable income. So right now I can't justify buying any new pieces.
But this would just be an excuse for the real reason: because I love doing it
Thanks Dexter! It is just a mockup of what I plan, but yeah the essence is there. Busy WIP'ing the xenomorph into shape:
