Default Silly question. How many models in a unit? Is it a full tray?

I am waiting for my order to arrive, and am using the app to create an army. However, I realized that it doesn't say how many models make a unit. The 4 cav on a 4 cav tray is obvious. But getting 12 umber and a tray that holds 12, am I to assume 12 is a unit?

    Basically a full tray = a unit?

    All units have 12 wounds.....

Infantry = 12 models with 1 wound each.

Cavalry = 4 models with 3 wounds each.

um no... else Ghost would have 12 wounds, as would giants etc...

to answer the OP though, yes a full unit is a full tray, and it remains a unit even if it loses figures

Yep, to extend to this reply, Solo Units (Monsters, War Machines and such that are counted as one model) are exception to the rule, and they themself state how much they have room for Wounds.
