Default Different Triggers, Hits from Tactic Cards

    Hello,

i have a question how Triggers for Cards and Orders are exactly distinguished. When i have a Trigger that happens at the same time (when a unit is attacked, before attack dice are rolles) but with different wording ("this unit", "friendly unit", "unit within x"), is this all the same or are they different? Also, is "when a unit is attack, before dice are rolled" and "when a unit is attacked, after dice are rolled" a different trigger?

Some Effects deal an attacker damage under specific circumstances, e.g. from Jaime when attacks miss oder are blocked. Are this hits resolved with special rules from the defender, e.g. Sunder?

    Thanks für your Answers!

    1) simply put, wording doesnt matter, it is the moment at which you play the card/ use the order. For example "when a unit attacks" and " when a unit attacks before dice are rolled" are the same trigger. But before dice are rolled and after dice are rolled are different triggers, because they are at different moments in time.

    2) attack abilities are only applied with attacks, not auto hits. But be aware, some auto huts are applied with/to the attack, in which case the hits are added to the attack and recieve the abilities as well.

So if I am understanding you correctly, any cards which trigger "When a unit declares an attack", "When a unit making an attack" and "When a unit making an attack, before attack dice are rolled" in reality are all the same trigger. Not to complain but CMON really needs to clean these up and make some standard, uniform-text triggers because this is causing a ton of confusion.

Triggers are based on the event (trigger) causing them, not the wording on the card.

Most any wording inconsistencies come from the initial starter release, very few, if any, items beyond that have issue, and even those have been FAQed.
