Followers of Bone now get Vicious! I think this makes them very attractive as an anvil unit.

They'll suffer against Lannister Guards w Captains, but I feel like with Champion of Bone they could be getting wounds back every time they attack or take damage.

    What are your thoughts?

It was a needed update for them, the extra attacks make them very attractive. When Thenn Warriors were released they outshined FoB for the same points cost. Now they offer a real choice. Things like this are good for the overall health of the game.
The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.

I think i heard a shirt rattle in the distance...and the NW is weeping quite a bit.

I.E. both Rattleshirt and the Weeper are happy about this...as these commanders wanted tough units that could wipe ranks (Rattleshirt) and tried to play the panic game (Weeper).

While the Bone Followers don't look tough, that vicious/horrific visage combo will work wonders with Prey on Fear.

I hoped they'd give vicious to the Blackguards for the same reason.

New article about Bonelords chosen. One more attack die per rank 2-3 plus swapping out prey on fear for cut them down.
They can also now be fielded with Rattleshirt as an attachment (not just commander)

I think this will be a strong contender for space in a list with the Weeper as an attachment in a nearby unit of raiders or trappers.
10 points is a lot to commit, but I think they will chew through most basic troops pretty easy.

10pts is heaps, but they'll chew through a lot of units.

Fun times with Harma - 11 dice with Vicious and Vulnerable in the flank will kill a lot. Not bad with Styr too, Styr's Vengeance can let them activate twice with 10 dice hitting on a 2+.
Obviously good with Weeper as a commander as well.

I'm thinking of trying out this list:
    Bonelords chosen + Rattleshirt
    Savage Giant
4 units of Raiders, 1 with Chosen of Styr and one with Harma (commander)
    3NCUs
Mance (plopping out a weakened token every round while still taking the horse seems immensely useful)
Styr (there to Fury of Thenns influence the giant into a killing machine dealing 2d3+1 (min) wounds a turn.
Val for zone blocking and sweet sweet maneuvers

Harmas cards should help you get off some flank/gang up charges.
Between Chosen of Styr and Mance you should be placing two tokens a round. My favorite are weakened tokens since they cause rerolls after any of your opponents shenanigans.
Giant and Bonelords chosen are there to dish out damage. Raiders are there to take/contest objectives and die.

Well, big Oof to Cavedwellers with the 1.5 updates. They likely won't get a bonus until the third round of combat if they charge a unit alone.
What do you guys think? Styr went up a point, but is still our best ranged attack option lol.

Hehe styr is at the points he should be i think. And for the dwellers i never really liked them but now i find the jarl in dwellers combo much better because you can deploy them when you need too.
After you have tarpited alot of shit you can deploy them and place them where enemy ranks Are low.. Ofc you could also have done that before.. But I just realized it xD
