I don’t play Lannister, but I do like to grab the uniques, as I am a HUGE fan of the books.

I debated a lot on color choices here, especially Joff. In the end I stuck with typical Lannister colors for him. The Kingsguard I chose to blend in some elements from the show with the gold accents, to add some variety to what would have been pretty plain minis, paint-wise. It may be hard to see in the pictures, but I also used a light tan color for the clothes under the armor. Again, to break up all the white

That is some darn nice stuff right there.

    Thanks!

In hindsight, I wish I had done more to add a difference between the white of the soft pieces, like the cloak, and the white of the hard pieces, like the armor.

Maybe you could go over the white armour bits with a glossy varnish?

or you could go over them with a cold white (armor)/warm white (cloak). But then you'd loose some of the shadows you have because of zenithal highlighting (could be fixed with some transparents/contrast paints(gw)/inks).
    Forgot, that it works again.

    Thanks for the tips!

I thought about a gloss coat, but have had horrible personal experience with using it. Ended up too thick and still tacky to the touch years later. Painting PTSD has kept me from trying again. But it may be time to give it a go.

These actually were not zenethal highlighted at all. Just white Contrast paint over white primer. Aside from the gold, and the wash it got, the only other thing done was a Grey wash on the belt and plume. I could go back and add the grey wash to the cloak... or redo it, along with the belt and plume, in an off-white with a warmer tint to it. Then re-wash...
