So the mammoth task has begun! Unfortunately lockdown has stopped me from visiting my local Games Workshop due to all non-essential shops being closed so I'm waiting on a few colours, in particular a blue contrast, to arrive from their HO via the post so the project is on hold until then. Received an email saying my order was on the way so hopefully only a day or two.

As you and the provider are based in the UK, Brexit won't have any delay impacts. Keeping fingers crossed for a fast delivery.

"I gotta be mad painting a yellow space marine!"

A little late to this party, but I read your comments about painting the Imperial fists marine.

Here is a challenge for you. Get the new McFarlane Artist Proof Marine action figure, and paint it. That's a 7" tall marine. And for extra bonus, make him and Imperial marine. When you complete that, painting tiny imperial fists will no longer look like a chore.

    I'll give it some thought.

The contrast blue I ordered from GW was just the ticket. Now to pick the highlights out again before moving on.

    Thanks, mate!

Unfortunately I'm going to be out of action for a while having picked up diverticulitis. Physically drained and in no mood to paint. On the plus side my blood tests revealed I have Covid19 antibodies so I obviously contracted the virus at some point but had no symptoms.

    I will return soon!

I'm sorry to hear about the diverticulitis, hope you recover soon. Man, that's a shock about the Covid, I'm glad you didn't get very ill.
So far I don't know many people who have gotten it, but it could still be that many more have had it that just didn't know.

That demon looks great though, hope you get to work on it soon!

Take care of yourself mate-you’ll be back before you know it - nice a vivid blues in that changer of ways -incredible and captivating.

As the others said, this is a beautifull blue, this demon is promising!
And take care, I hope you'll be back on your feet soon

That sucks, hope you feel better soon (although I guess it is semi good news finding out you already had Covid and it didn't affect you).

Hi folks! Thanks to a session of really strong antibiotics and rest I'm back. Unfortunately I still have a colonoscopy to look forward to...yay! lol.

That being said thanks all for the kind words - further highlights why I love this hobby.

So, I have now finished the blue and begun the the underbelly. Base coat only at this stage, but I have a day off work tomorrow so will crack on.

Glad to hear that you're back on the track. Take your time to recover! Painting might help here.
Having that said, taking a look at the blues - which turned out great! Looking forward to see more colour on this beast.
