I paint miniatures for living... Or live for painting miniatures? ???
Mechanical engineer here. I prefer to work on projects (ranging from designing machines to managing and implementing technical software) so I don\'t have a set job. My last project ended last year and because of the economy most job offers got postponed at the last moment. Shame as I would otherwise have been either in Poland or China. Will start soon in a new company that combines teaching and engineering. In boring Eindhoven unfortunately. :( Oh well, it sounds like an interesting job and keeps me off the street. :)
I was a student in vegetal physiology at Jussieu university... so I became the manager of 2 shops selling \"art de la table\" stuff, like Baccarat, Haviland, Bernardaud, Wedgwood etc...
La Licorne
My girlfriend was a student in history at La Sorbonne... so she helps me with the 2 shops...
I used to be an Infantry Soldier/paratrooper. Now I work at a plant that manufactures contact lenses.
I am, and have been for 13 years now, in the Army. I\'m a maintenance supervisor for tracked combat vehicles (among various other side jobs). Came back from a year in Iraq back in March of \'04 and I\'ll be back in......March of \'05:o
ask my parents for money....lollollol and also paint miniatures...:)
Meh, I\'m somewhat of a private person so I wasn\'t going to respond to this thread, but why not...
For the past six years, I\'ve been a game designer with a relatively small company. I\'ve fairly recently left due to what I felt were very poor management decisions.
At the moment, I\'m actually doing acceptably at painting miniatures for a living, though the cut in pay is going to take some getting used to. :)
I intend to start my own gaming company, though I will likely focus on miniatures and tabletop gaming rather than computer games. I\'m slowly putting the pieces together to make this a reality, but it\'ll take time. I have no interest in hurrying a crap product to market.
Before my game design job, I was for all intents and purposes an interior decorator -- painting, renovating, moving furniture, design. It was a very dull job which was sucking the life out of me, but the pay was very nice. People will pay outrageous sums for the most pointless things. <chuckles>
I\'ve also been a musician and actor, but never managed to get my opportunities to sync up. Ironically, one of my closest friends was the assistant manager for Guns & Roses, so I\'m still tempted to toss together a demo tape once last time before truly calling it quits on that front. It\'s just that after 17 years of frustration, I\'m not in any hurry to bother with it. Maybe if I happen across a really astonishing drummer and/or guitarist (I\'m a singer mainly).
Hmm. I suppose for now, I\'m content painting miniatures and trying to save money for my gaming project.

I work freelance as a PC Technician part time. I also work part time as an Emergency Room receptionist at a local hospital and fill in periodically at a local clinic as a receptionist. I\'m currently trying to land another job as the \"Lifeline Coordinator\" at the same hospital that I\'m an E.R. receptionist. My plate is filling up fast!!
A certified nurse aide, or CNA, is a professional who provides basic nursing care to patients in a variety of settings. CNAs typically work in hospitals, nursing homes, and other long-term care facilities. They may also work in home health care agencies or provide private duty nursing care to individual patients.
The duties of a Certified Nurse Aide vary depending on the setting in which they work, but typically include providing personal care to patients, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming; helping patients eat and drink; taking vital signs; and providing emotional support.
Holy moly- glad to see you are still around FF. Lots of familiar “faces”. You are a painter of 1/1 scale in other words. Hehe
Front line nurse in the Covid wars. Frig- done with that now. Spending time in TPI classes now full time for a couple months- “but I’m much better now”. Was a medic. Full time dad and musician these days.
