OK, I know it has been a million years since I last posted something here!
It has been pretty insane with life and painting. In addition to all the other endless projects, I have been working on a big Lizardman army for myself. Some of you might have seen a few of the images I have posted on Lustria Online.
Anyway, I have been putting up some of my Witch hunter/ Demonhunter stuff up before I get to the newer Lizzies!
This was a massively converted figure I did for my Inquisitor lord. Made from lots of bits and green stuff!
Let's see if I can make any of these links work with the change of format...
wow! think its the first time ive seen realy really beautiful lizard stuff! actually, this is one of the coolest army ive ever seen. all round awesome work!

still no in line...
I've always liked the idea of a lizardman army but never been enamoured of the GW range - i prefer the old rafm reptiliads en masse. However I always thought that any lizard army should be fun to paint nice and bright - you've certainly shown me how to do that!
So inspirational! I just want to go and buy a lizardmen army. Are you going to paint up one of those bigger dino's?:O
Stegodon was it called? (trying to remember the name of the actual dino name: stegosaurus).

I have used the core comp army 8 times now. Ironically, only 3 of those games were against other core comp armies. Out of the 8 games, four of the games were against Demons. I think I was able to win 4 of the eight games, with 3 more draws (I had more VP's, but shy of 299 or whatever).
There was one loss early on to a non core comp dwarf gunline army with an anvil. I had never run across that before, so now I am fully aware of what that bugger can do! It was definitely a learning experience. In fact, that was the game that made me solidly committed to the skink cohorts you see in the pictures. The dwarf guy was more freaked by the speed of the entire army than he was of the EotG's. That has proven true in every game since, as I have even managed to get off flank charges on cavalry with my skrox units!
The vast majority of the armies in the tournament are O&G, MoC, and DE's. At least 50 people total in the tournament (originally 60). I wish there were lots of demon armies, since I have had much more success against them. I know that army inside and out, as I face it every week! I know a lot less about some of the others. I am sure everybody has had at least one of those 'gotcha' moments where somebody pulls out some combo you never knew about before.
My army is very different from anything people normally see from lizards, so I am hoping that the unusual army construction, plus my own 'loose cannon' style will help. It did back in May when I took 1st in my very first WFB tourney.
I only started playing about 13 months ago, so I am completely ignorant of all the conventional wisdom about what you should or should not do. I never even played wargames at all until late 2007. Yes, ignorance can be bliss.
