Hi. I got a few nice remarks when I posted my Hasslefree Orc Wolf paintjob about the notches that I painted on the blade. Some of you thought they were sculpted on which is the greatest compliment. So Iv'e decided to knock up a quick tutorial on the technique I used. It's very quick and easy and Iv'e kept the tutorial the same.
  • Here is the finished figure.
  • And here are the steps I took to achieve the notches on the cleaver.
  • Feel free to message me with any questions.
  • Mark.

    Simple and effect!!
But is it more simple, cut notches from the blade with an hobby-knife, instead of simulating them with paint?

Excellent tutorial, so simple that I never thought of it. A tutorial on your metalwork would be appreciated as well.
