Limited, but nice fig...
This figure is sculpted very well, and fits together very nicely. Putting it together isn't very nice, though. This figure comes in 4 parts: a choice of three heads, part of an arm minus shoulder and hand, and an arm with both hands and the sword, minus the shoulder. The fact that the shoulders are attached to the main body rather than being part of the arm is a kind of oddity, but I can somewhat see why that would be done. However, it makes for an interesting time trying to line everything up perfectly. Don't get me wrong, fitting the arm to the shoulder together was very easy, and it went in nearly seamlessly. Doing that and connecting the rest up all at once was the part where things got a bit wonky. Suffice it to say, it can be done, but take care with it. Outside of that little problem, the figure itself is nicely detailed, had very little flash, and I must say the musculature is done very nicely. Exaggerated enough to make the point, but not to be noticeably blown up into cartoon proportions. Some might find the abdominal muscles a bit much, but in its context it looks good. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a Conan the Barbarian type of figure, and the pose is nicely dynamic without being overly so. A good execution, I think, minus the shoulder thing which makes conversion pretty limited unless you can sculpt. If you can, though, the parts under the arms are still formed correctly and will not be something you'll have to resculpt.
