Overall, this is a very nice miniature. It is somewhat hollowcast in white resin that is similar to plastic, much like that of ForgeWorld quality, not the brittle variety like Verlinden uses. All of the details are well rendered, with only very minor air bubbles being present. There was, however, on my example, a very nasty vertical casting seamline that ran the entire miniture. This took a lot of care to remove because of its situation upon the detail. If you plan to put this model on a gaming table, this will probably be of no consequence. It does paint up very nicely, which I did with Vallejo and Pollyscale acrylics. There was no annoying mold release on the miniature, and thus painting was possible without primer, which I prefer when working with resin. It appears that this sculpt may have originally been a scaled up space marine, thus creating the potential to be compatible with larger miniatures as well. This piece will make a nice addition to any gaming army or display cabinet.

The original Lord of Pestilence and its custom scenic base was sculpted by Sophia of Ultraforge. We can proudly say that every bit of this miniature has been sculpted with the closest attention to detail.

The Lord of Pestilence Resin Kit comes un-assembled and un-painted. Each of the 4 pieces included in this kit (two arms, one body, one scenic base) are cast from a high quality gray resin. This miniature stands approx. 3 inches in height when assembled. It is specifically sculpted for 28mm "heroic" tabletop wargames.

The casting house is among the best in the world and we are confident you will be fully satisfied with the quality of your purchase. Please be aware that while every effort is taken to create a flawless miniature no casting method is perfect and slight imperfections occasionally occur. These imperfections are nearly unnoticeable and can be easily removed or filled during assembly.
