Arthurian base
This is my first attempt to paint on wood. I am in mind to build and paint a base inspired to the famous King Arthur's Round Table that is kept in Winchester's Cathedral. My inspiration is the central part of the table. The base, on the basis of the round 6 cm base from GW, has been first covered by wooden strips (naval models material) arranged like fishbones. The wood has been first black inked (diluted) and thereafter coloured with chestnut ink.
