Guardsman with Grenade Launcher

I just started painting a week or two ago so I decided to show one of my most recent ones so your eyes don't bleed and blood gets in your keyboard and then it'll dry in there and you wont be able to type as good because of the dried blood and you will have to get a new one. Any suggestions on how to make the paint look smoother and more clean?

ikim
thin the paints down with water, so it becoms the consistency of milk. Remember; a lot of thinned layers, are better than a think one. Good first mini. cheers
