The final result of all my efforts. This is my first attempt to paint on wood. This base has been inspired by the famous King Arthur's Round Table that is kept in Winchester's Cathedral. My inspiration has been the central part of the table. The base, on the basis of the round 6 cm base from GW, has been first covered by wooden strips (naval models material) arranged like fishbones. The wood has been first black inked (diluted) and thereafter coloured with chestnut ink. Then the whole painting was done Any comment is welcome Ciao Doc Reference: picture 100239
