Chapel of Silence - Confrontation Terrain
The “Chapel of Silence” This piece was on view at the recent Newbury Wargames Show (UK) and was bought by a fellow exhibitioner before the show even opened! It is what I call "pseudo-confrontation" scenery, as it doesn't quite fit into the Confrontation world but uses some Confrontation elements particularly the “Columns of Silence” which adorn the walls. This piece is scratch built from resin, basswood and polymer-plaster (with white-metal columns from Rackham). The window is a hand-made 4-piece resin cast of a design by Aidan Boustred (Warfactory) with stained glass made from liquid polymer clay. Ivy and vines are from our own products. Brick design was originally by Gerard Boom and adapted to fit the window by myself and then cast in resin - this piece was very much a prototype for a new range of kits based around gothic windows (ruined churches and the like) and I’m now working on producing fully-integrated walling with much more detailed windows, better buttresses and so forth - all of which will take some time, so. Quality of this image is not too great due to having to squeeze so much in on one image. I may add single images of higher quality sometime later and if folks ask for them – after all I don’t want to spam everybody with multiple images unless they ask for them!
