yes, you are getting better here. A shot of dulcoat would help her a bunch. It looks like you are thining your paints now. Thin them more on the highlights (especially the ones on the back of the hat) or don't try to do it all at once, layer a mix of the 2 colors on as a highlight first, then the highlight.
Keep at it.
I really like your flowers, you did a great job on them. I can't tell if you are using enamels or just a really glossy sealer. Either way you might want to try some dull coat sealer to get rid of the shine.
