Another blast from the past for me. It was an interesting colour scheme (dictated by client)... turquoise is all the rage now, but back then, you rarely saw it on any gaming models. Very striking, especially in the context of an entire army. I'd probably utilize some different painting techniques now, perhaps do some weathering, but most vehicles were painted in a similar style back in the early '00s. Heck, back then, most of the painters I knew were only just starting to use products like Vallejo Smoke and various acrylic mediums (airbrushing was rare for gaming models still, and so were use of pigments). Mini painting was in the midst of a real revolution at that time, and I was still firmly entrenched in the old Mike McVey style for the most part.
