Stray Dogs
My entry for GD UK 2005 - made it into the final judging stage, but didnt quite beat the big painter boys. For a first try at the demons, I´m very pleased :) The main inspiration comes from an illustration in the Empire army book, which should be pretty obvious.. The theme about the dogs comes from a short film I made a couple of years ago, about a lost man going through purgatory, which is filled with dogs. Its an obscure reference that only has value to me, but I like it.. and I think the 'Stray dogs' theme comes through in another way that is open to intrepretation, which is something I am quite proud of in this piece.
