what about an artist interpitation.originality i dont agree with wart at all. a mini is a canvas to exprese the way you see thing. great job on the peice it deserved the finalist position.
I understand what wart says but disagree I'm afraid. I don't think the axe is oversized at all, no doubt that it's big but a marine is as astrong as 50 men, so wielding a wooden shafted axe with a large metal head would be no great feat. I think that the wings give it a more righteous and angelic feel, and feel that it is more symbolic of the Grey knights' purpose (almost as holy crusaders) rather than as an aesthetic feature. A very original idea I think, I love the pattern on the marine's armour, oh and I even like the Tau colour scheme lol. :)
