You know there really isn't anything bad about this fairy. She has more clothes than the female fairy of Freebooter so it's clearly not that. After due consideration, I gave her a reson for people to say "Bad Fairy!" She was painted to be similiar to my Female Fairy, lighter in some ways (skin tone ... bad fairy's don't stay in the sun enough to get good tans) and darker in others (the wings are metalic blue and black).

Yes the eyes are definitely a problem. Aside fom doing them backwards I forgot the pupil. (Acutally it's the 'eye' as the other eye is mostly covered by te lock of hair.) The cleavage needs to stand out more! And the use of metalic paints for the outfit wasn't really a good idea. To add to the problem I think the position of the mini requires a very complex camera angle. (I really needed to have the first shot a little lower and more looking up.) Live and learn.

Gotta work on the eyes. They make or break most minis. It looks like you have gloss on the wings & boots? For photo work you are better to paint them with sharper highlights and give them a matt coat. The skin needs a bit more depth in the shadows. As Mike used to tell me: You are painting |---| and need to paint |---------| for the camera.
