love the banner, if you applied careful shading (mix paint to consinstancy of a wash) to the darkest points/in between armoured plates and use glazes to bring more life like realism to the eyes and cheeks your painting will improve so much you won't believe it. hope this helps and good luck. chris
I think this is pretty good. I really like the conversion, and the banner. I think your highlighting is good, but I think you need to create more depth with shading, maybe by darklining. I don't like the brown rock (looks like a blob). Finally, there looks like a mold line on his gun. A better pic would help, as you said.
