I agree that the blending on the horses legs between colors looks very good. The paint is very clean and the choice of colors work very well together. More than anything your imporvements could be made by painting it to be more photogenic. I will add a few suggestions to help with this. The gloss black is hurting the mini overall, gloss finish doesn't photograph well use a flat finish over the entire model. The gold trim could benefit from some brighter highlighting, try using a lighter gold or mix a bit of silver into the gold. You might try using a darker color to line in the details and help them to pop out a bit more like on the areas between the horses armour and skin. Paint the base too, it will look more to scale with the mini that way. Overall apears to be nice work, but doesn't show up so well in the photo.
First of all, I think U shouldn't use shineing black paint...I know U wanted to make realistic blac-metal armour, but do not make that this way. I suggest You to use boltgun metal GW paint on the place of black, It would look better than it looks now... I thing the blending between creamy-brown and black (horse's legs) is realy good! highlighting too. That's all about horse. Knight looks like that because of his armour I think, the same problem - shineing black... face and hair are OK. and at last - base...Paint it!;) It has to be painted too, not just glued;) Electro-static grass would be good too then... So, if You replace black paint for other paints, it would look like strong 6+ :) I hope I've helped ,anyway my english is not so bad:D Adios! Wojtek
