I always get so torn with pieces like this. On one hand I think it looks awsome, the colors are great, and it's different. On the other hand...it's a water filter...and it's hard for me to not see a water filter everytime I look at it. However in the end it's still a verry cool piece.

Haha, a water filter... great idea, looks convincing! I would have painted some damage marks and dirt on it though. Keep it up!

The base is 1/4 inch plywood and the earth is sand and latex paint mixed to a rough almost crumbly texture. Then drybrushed. I have yet to add grass and clean the edges.
