I don't usually paint dwarves but this one just looked kinda....different. So I went with it! I wanted to quarter his clothes and have a different border on each half of his tunic, so out came the blue/gold and off-white/runes look.
An excellent touch, the quartering and the trimming. I like a lot what you did to the face, and those eyes are excelllent. Now, Do you realize that this same mini, painted red instead of blue, with green details woulda been a perfect match for a medieval Santa Claus?. He's just too jolly!!
