death cult assassins (spyre hunters)
Man i love these minis! i saw them in the catalouge and in knew i wanted them. i plan on expanding on the team by painting up some of the DCA minis, which fit in with these guys perfectly (the armour looks the same and after a little green stuff they'll be peas in a pod). i really enjoyed all the lens/gem effects on these minis - it complements the dark bodysuits well. the "helmets" were a bit of a painting experiment - i glazed blue ink over areas already painted using metallic methods (i.e. multitone silvers). in person it looks quite nice - glossy & metallic but still shaded. unfortunately the technique doesnt translate well. anyhow, i had fun. enjoy. questions? comments? suggestions?
