Wood Elves Mounted Lord Conversion
Hello everyone, This is a conversion of the Mounted Lord from the new Wood ELves Range from Games Workshop. I wanted to do a really special Lord. I think the new horses from GW for this range are really great and I absolutely loved them! But for my taste this horeses are not the right one for this Lord, the Lord is really heavy and not as fine as the horeses. As I wanted to assemble him to the horses I stopped and thought a long time over this problem... So the Idea of a conversion was formed. I took a horse from the High- ELves SIlverhelms and made some changes with Green Stuff. The head of the horse from the Wood Elves Lord matched perfectly to the body of the High-Elves horse! And I really liked it a lot! The horse shows a lot of stregthness this way and is really a horse for heavy battle. As I read the Codex from the new WoodElves I saw the entry for unicors so I had the idea to give this horse a little bit of a unicorn (maybe it is part of the Armor or it is a really a true unicorn which agreed to let the Lord ride it into the battle :-) ) It was really fun to do this model.
