I give it a 7 for scratchbuilding...I don't mind the paint job either... Too many vehicles are super clean looking... Cheers, :F

It is builted from spare styrene and some bts borrowed from gundam kits, and the nose gun is from the Dream Pod 9 mammoth, also there are some old space marines backpack swivels. I will try the various non metal techniques, and see what came out, thanks for the tips :)

It's a very nice and interesting model! but the paintjob lets it down a little bit. The part that really may need repainting is the canopy, which is just too bright a blue to be using as a solid colour. There are some great files on doing Sky/Earth NMM on this site. If you've got the time, i'd suggest looking them up and trying that technique on the canopy. Also, i find that when painting minitary vehicles, a light drybrushing with a light grey colour can create a nice weathering effect on armour, making it look a bit more real. How did you built it? Are the parts converted from the mechwarrior stuff?
