Dead Tree
The focus here, obviously, is the tree. I wanted to test out a technique for constructing model trees, and decided to do this little vignette, of a skeleton rising from the grave, amidst the roots of a dead tree. The candle does cast a slight lighting effect on the base, but it doesnt show up clearly in the picture. The tree is constructed from thin brass wire, curled around brass wire, which is again curled around brass wire etc. the thing is covered with fine sand mixed with woodglue. A simple, effective technique that I will defenitely try and find more uses for :)
