Was happy with this one until the folk art matt varnish I bought decided to be glossy anyway. What a pain in the ... Still think the colour scheme worked well though.The snakes in her hair are blue and black striped coral sea snakes .

I won't repeat, what's been said, but I like the color you chose from the skin tone alot. One suggestion: I think you have highlighted enough on the upper body, but maybe try with a darker base or shade color next time. I think it would make your highlights "pop" a little more. You could do this either with a darker base, and then layering highlights lighter as you go, or by adding a darker wash after highlighting. The layering is probably better, but a bit harder and more work.

Really nice skin tone. When you paint varnish partially, I think that it is effective.
