Dark eldar army:raider
Here's a small part of my DE army on sale now on ebay: Other pictures here in CMON here: http://www.coolminiornot.com/109291 http://www.coolminiornot.com/109293 http://www.coolminiornot.com/109295 LARGER PICS OF ENTIRE ARMY HERE: http://www.locuspraesidi.it/public/III-I-III/Catalogo/Ebay%20heroes%20and%20conversions.JPG http://www.locuspraesidi.it/public/III-I-III/Catalogo/Ebay%20infantry%20and%20bikes.JPG http://www.locuspraesidi.it/public/III-I-III/Catalogo/Ebay%20raider%20talos%20and%20other.JPG EBAY LINK: http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8744440177&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1 It was painted by myself about 7 years ago.This was my personal army for 40K.I was going to complete it to partecipate to 2K1 Italian Grand Tournament in order to win best army.I never entered the tournament because I turned my attentions to WFB that in that period had it's last edition.I had great fun with my high elves and put my dark eldar in a corner.Now I play confrontation and warmachine and I think will never play WH40K anymore.So sadly I decided to sell my army.I'm not totally sure yet,because I spent an enormous amount of time creating it,but I think it's better that someone fields it somewhere in the world instead of catching dust under my bed.I want to give my army the occasion of beeing displayed for everybody's eyes' pleasure because it's worth of it.I put on each single trooper the attention I put on a charachter(painting time wasn't a problem in that period and I wanted to do the best work possible).As you can see from the larger pics linked above,the attention to the detail is pushed at my best(at that time).The colour scheme was inspired by the colours of the box in which the basic starting army was released:midnight blue and scaly green.particulars are painted in scorpion green and warlock purple to achieve contrast without using warm tones.Some bases are enriched with minerals from my collection:quartzes,pirites,fossiles and calcedonium.Under each plastic trooper there is a coin(Italian 100 lire.It's a pity that now these coins are out of circulation because of the adoptation of euro in Europe,they were perfect).
