Manbane

Designed and sculpted by Andy Foster of Heresy Miniatures. This is a model with some serious attitude! Ideal for gaming or as a display model for collectors. Manbane is mounted on a standard 40mm round monster base. Painted with Vallejo & GW acrylics and sealed with satin varnish "Poor old Sir Wilfred the Squeamish, he tried his best, but never really had the backbone for adventuring. On his last ill-fated expedition down in the old mines, one look at the creature called Manbane, and the old knight went to pieces..." excerpt from ' The complete idiots guide to dungeon exploring' (TM) by Edwin the Wise. This is one of my favourites from the Heresy range, and I intend to buy it at some stage :) The paint job, if a little drab, has a grittyness which adds to the effect of the model. I'm a stickler for bases though and a little landscaping would have been advantageous. Nice mini overall though.
