Its fascinating to see what people are doing now.. Im about to get back into it, so Im especially interested in new techniques, and metallic paints ARE one thing I was never too happy with so no surprise other people felt the same and tried to find an alternative

That NMM you are talking about is the colour yellow. NMM is blending a colour to make a metallic look. I can understand the confusion since everyone wants to be sheep and do NMM. He used metallics. And he did them very well too. Excellent work on a nice model.

Interesting, I had to look up "nmm" and no, the metallics are good old metallics. Trick of the photography I guess.
