It's really hard to comment on the NMM due to the photo issues. :-< It looks like you're on the way, but need to work on placement of highlights, and adding more shadows and more contrast between the highest highlights and lowest shadows, which are often adjacent to one another on metal objects. I like the base, but it would be even cooler if you'd done a wash of a darker colour on the part to be under water, objects often look darker when wet than when dry.
