Solid six.....im a beginier too....and looks like you got yourself a good tech already. the face is good.....but you might was to make the top of the eye (under the brow) darker blue, and right below the eye...lighter blue........you can even use just black on top, white on bottom....
as for the armor, it does need some highlights, on the edges and such, you can even use green inch really thined down to do so...
also, highlight that black.....sounds dumb, but if you look at a black car or leather pants....there is white highlights/grey ect, just dont over do it.
