New image of Salamader Librarian I did as a gift for a friend. This one is smaller so it is hopefully less grainy. I didn't like the interpretation of the salamander mantle on other figs so I did this one up in Green Stuff. Learned a lot so the next time I will try something more complicated. Also the thunderhammer was removed from its arm at the elbow so as to preserve all the cables. It also very nicely receives the cable from the force weapon. This is also my first attempt at wet-on-wet blending using an acrylic extender.

I like the shield, not bad for your first attempt at wet blending, the only suggestion I can give is try to build the colors more, It seems to go from the base coat to the highlight very upruptly. Good mini.

I dig the greens the best and the shield is cool. You are right! I am not a big 40K guy at all, but they could use cool power shields and stuff :p
