Alastriel, Fem Elf Mage (Reaper 2967)
Another great sculpt by Werner Klocke. This mini was a lot of fun to paint, because of the flowing lines and dynamic pose. I was meaning to put a freehand on the cape aswell, but the base color of it came out so well I didn't want to ruin it :). The freehand on the skirt is based on the style of a famous japanese painting of a large wave. For the hair I went for a dark blonde hue, with darker roots. At the time of taking the picture, I have not sealed the mini, which is why the tip of the sword has some color peel off. While I certainly didn't amaze myself with this one, it definitely came out just as I wanted it :). Comments are welcome as ever.
