Ogre Bull 1

First attempt at the 'new' Ogres. hope to get a full unit done at some point. Really like these chunky miniatures.

So sorry... i missjudged your mini. have talked to other guys in different forum and they told me you are former eavymetal painter..furthermore we found that your mini aint dipped (which i cant explain here) so 9 is the correct grade (so sorry about the 7)

lol Well the I don't think the "new" dipping method wouldn't turn out 1/10 as nice as this, if you aren't the most gifted dipper walking the earth. It's not a new technique, it has just become more common. Basically the dipping method is an inking step but you often use a product called minwax polyshade. It produces a really nice gaming quality piece. If applied with a brush instead of dipping it into the substance you can get more advanced uses for it. Some just add PVA glue to an ink. Works wonders on skelletons. Very nice work on the ogre!

If you can please explain what the new 'dipping' method is, I can tell you whether I used it or not... As far as I know, I used only methods in use since time imemorial... Best regards.
