Duke Gerard, Coryani Legionnaire

Painted for the Living Arcanis game world as a Coryani legionnaire, this Duke Gerard had his axe removed and replaced by a scratch built gladius. Personally i dislike the wings but used them anyway. Red has been and still is a weakness, as you can see. The shield has a little green stuff work done to match it closer to the roman shield i based the freehand design from.

The conversion looks pretty smooth. Nice job with the freehand on the shield. The reds look good, although it's hard to tell completely due to the shine on the cloth. I suspect some people are marking you down for that, as most people prefer a matte finish. I like the base, also.
