Hi, guys - this is the first miniature I've painted that I think has what it takes to grace Cool Mini or Not. Please, tell me what you think!

I see alot of promise with this mini. Very good table top quality. The gold could use some highlighting other than that just do more minis. You have the basics down the rest will follow.

I think you need to work on blending. One highlight isn't enough.

Emperor's Disciples Chaplain; The part that my eye was drawn to is his shoulder armour, and the gold bits, they need shading. This has the potential of being a good mini, but again you have not finished it. Finishing a mini is the hardest part, if you work on your highlighting and spend as much time on the rest of the mini as you did the face of the vostroyan, so the mini comes together into a finished article, I'm sure your scores will rise. And it's not just about scores. Good luck and don't rush
